Dear Damsels,

Your theme for December is TRACE.

It’s what we leave behind. Imprints and impressions on people, places and objects, declaring that yes, I have been here. I have happened.

Crossing ‘X’ to mark our spot, trailing a finger across the lines of a map, across the lines of each other. Piecing together a route from door to door, from hills to rivers, from hips to elbows.

It can seem small, barely discernible. Something we aren’t even sure is still there, like a fading footprint on a forgotten path. But it can hold entire stories.

As we near the end of the year, we want you to look back and tell us where you’ve been – and what you’ve left behind.
