hands entwined
softness
swinging over slick cobbles
pessimism breaking bones
already
against tough granite
against hardy pub-goers
against imaginary flags
we continue
a soft kiss
on a London rooftop
lips meshed
against harsh lights
terrifying tomorrows
forgotten
in entanglement
we step together
clinging
to slick balcony
railings
railing
rallying
against a friendship
against expectancy
against uncertain unknowing
then
with both feet
toes clenched
I hop(e)
leaping to be too bold
your elastic
catches
I snap back
spine intact
and then
my body
battles
my kisses are
sacrifice
my family are
folded corners
in dusty books
my lioness
has anxiety,
my arches
tremble flatly,
my palms sweat
and then
hurdling
in sloth mode
I take a step
-to you I am
(static)
-to me I am
pantheric
(dynasty):
slinking into new oases
clutching
only her hand
for guidance
it is secure enough
and now I am
daring to chase
daring to shed
to abandon, to emote
to taste it all
