Dear Damsels,

It’s all about you. Our next online theme is EGO.

Self-esteem, self-importance, self-worth. It’s the relationship you have to who you are, the person you put out into the world. A truth you hold onto, even when you’re unsure of your next steps.

It should be solid, strong, healthy. But it can feel tumultuous; difficult to handle, to keep a grasp on – too humble, too inflated, too much. The original love/hate relationship.

Whatever your sense of ego is, we want to hear from you. Send us your poems, stories, essays and everything inbetween by Sunday 9th October using the form below (though make sure to check our submissions guidelines first!).
